His wife was on the news all crying and shit. Talking about how unfair everything is and how they’ve been through so much. Get bent Tiffany Van Dyke. Your husband is a murderer. He’ll get what he deserves in prison and I’m hoping the challenge to give Jason a harsher/longer sentence is successful.

On the one hand, I want to have sympathy for her, because in some sense, she’s being punished for his actions.

But on the other hand, I’m wondering why she’s sticking with that POS, and I have zero sympathy for him, so it makes me question her character.

I hope Kwame Raoul is successful at getting the sentence lengthened - though it seems like that would be unlikely (?)

I live in a City of 200,000 people. A rough city with a lot of problems. Always in the top 3 Canadian cities for crime rate and often #1 for murders. and in 125 years the cops have shot exa ctly 13 people. That’s one a decade. There are longstanding racism/police issues, But they are not straight up mur dering people. It’s tough that feelings are being hurt, but her husband straight up mur dered that guy.

I agree, however, her sticking with him and some of the things she’s said about how hard it’s been with what their family is going through, trying to make them the victims, have made it nearly impossible for me to have sympathy for her.

I’m not optimistic since technically the sentence falls in line with what he was convicted of, but I’d like to see it lengthened.

13 shootings or killings? Either way that’s crazy (in a good way). I live in a much larger city that isn’t that rough, and our city cops  shot 44 (killed 21) people just last year. Of course everyone here has guns, so most people committing crimes are usually armed.

Everyone here has guns too, we just don’t take them to the mall.

Might need bigger guns, moose are SCARY! and not particulary afraid of people. Bears are afraid of people. I’ve scared bears away,  if there’s a moose, I’m out.

Oh I know, I’ve been hiking in Alaska. Those badboys were everywhere.  Part of the plan is to get the people who need to shoot things killed by Moose.
